Mission Statement

The Mission of Sacred Hearts Academy is to educate young women to take responsibility for their lives, to contribute to the world around them and to value life long learning.

Lancer Robotics expands upon the school's mission, encouraging female students to participate in the male dominated fields of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM).

Much like the technology classes at the Academy, the principles of FIRST promote the use of theory, education, problem solving and communication skills ensuring students gain the confidence to pursue careers in STEM. Students have also learned to apply the concepts of gracious professionalism to many facets of life.
